RideSafer® Travel Vest is tested and certified to the dynamic test requirements specified in FMVSS 213. RideSafer® Travel Vest is also designed to and complies with all of the other applicable requirements of FMVSS 213 for a harness including product labeling, webbing requirements, and an instruction manual.

RideSafer® Travel Vest has two different ways to use;

The first way is to use a tether belt. RideSafer® can be used with a vehicle lap belt and top tether by securing RideSafer® with a top tether anchor in the vehicle.
The other way is to use it without a tether belt. RideSafer® can also be used with a vehicle lap and shoulder belt only.

RideSafer® Travel Vest Gen 5 is provided in an Extra small size for children 22 to 45 lbs., a small size for children 30 to 60 lbs., a large size for children 50 to 80 lbs., and an Extra large size for children 80 to 110 lbs. respectively.
